Retail & Digital Associate
We are looking to welcome a Retail & Digital Associate to join the team at Sketch The Label. This role will be in house and part-time across 2 days per week. The successful candidate will support all retail & digital marketing initiatives, including traditional retail support to understand the brands products and its customers, e-commerce and CRO, SEO strategy, paid and organic social media management, email marketing strategy, and Google Ads.
We are looking for someone who is creative, enthusiastic and results-oriented, a relationship builder with a passion for all things retail and works well to a sales target.
As this role is quite unique, we would like to ensure the chosen ambassador has proven retail & digital expertise with an appreciation for attention to detail & tone of voice.

Core Responsibilities
- This role has 2 functions, the first and foremost is to understand the traditional retail of the business and work as part of the retail team to drive sales by supporting them with social content for organic visibility on a weekly basis.
- The successful candidate must have a clear understanding of retail targets and its KPIs, we need to ensure this candidate has a commercial mindset that understands the selling exchange and the relationship required to make that exchange both physically and digitally.
- Proven ability to work to a sales target and deep knowledge of CRM to drive sales in store and online.
- They would assist with all social media content creation, with a strong emphasis on creating content for Instagram, including creating reels, Instagram stories, and feed posts in line with the brand’s messaging.
- Develop and implement the quarterly content calendar across digital platforms, including website, email and social media & discuss weekly with the wider group
- Assist with the management of the e-commerce website (using Shopify, Klayvio & SMS marketing), including managing the product catalogue and stock levels, updating assets based on the content calendar, and building out new designs when required.
- Write blog posts in line with the content calendar, with SEO in mind
- Ensure consistency of digital strategy and messaging across all channels
- Analyse, track and report on the success of all digital marketing initiatives including paid ads, online sales, email campaigns and organic social performance using Google Analytics, Google Shop, analytics, and Meta Business Suite
- Continuously assess website user experience and customer journey, and propose and implement user experience strategies and optimisations as needed
- Conduct competitor research and audits
- Third-level degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing Strategy, Business Development or similar
- Previous experience working in retail for a ready to wear fashion brand or lifestyle store is an asset
- Experience in digital marketing strategy, e-commerce and social media management, across strategy, optimisation, and implementation
- Experience in developing and implementing organic social media strategies, including content planning and creation
- Proficient in photography and videography for organic social content
- Copywriting skills with the ability to relate to the brands tone of voice
- Aware of social media trends and best practices, and organic social media strategies to drive growth
- Knowledge of and experience in Google Analytics and reporting
- Understanding of technical and on-page SEO factors
